Tour Itinerary: Flexible & Optimized for Light

Our Faroe Islands photography tour operates with a flexible schedule and no fixed daily programme. This is crucial for maximizing your photographic opportunities. Thanks to our deep understanding of the local climate and extensive knowledge of the best shooting locations, we will constantly adapt and react to the weather, ensuring we bring you to the best spots in the optimal light to capture truly amazing images.

Accommodation: Hotel Føroyar

Our 4-star Hotel Føroyar serves as our central base. From here, most shooting locations are within 30 minutes, with no location further than 60 minutes away. (Typical sunrise is approx. 8:45 AM and sunset 3:40 PM in November).

Day-by-Day Journey

Day 1 – Arrival Day: We'll fly into Vagar Airport (FAE) where we'll meet and make the short drive to our lodging. Depending on arrival times, we often aim for a morning sunrise shoot on this opening day. Afterwards, we'll settle into our accommodation for the week and review the detailed plan for the days ahead. An early night ensures we're ready for our exciting start the next morning.

Days 2 to 7 – Immersive Photography: Our daily schedule begins with an early morning rise for sunrise photography (arriving at location approx. 1 hour before sunrise). This is followed by breakfast and a short break before heading out to explore various daytime locations, focusing on mastering techniques like long exposure. Lunch will be on the go to maximize our coverage of locations. We aim to arrive at our sunset location an hour prior to sunset to scout compositions and ensure we capture the day's best light. Over these 6 days, we will be actively photographing at every opportunity – regardless of weather, truly embracing the Faroese elements!

Day 8 – Departure Day: An early morning rise for transfer to the airport to catch your flights home. Expect final goodbyes, lots of hugs, and incredible memories and images that will last a lifetime. This workshop is specifically designed to be engaging, fun, flexible, and highly educational.

• Booking Deposits:

  • Are valid for the specific dates of the booked tour and cannot be transferred.

  • Are non-refundable.

• Payment Schedule:

  • Uppon booking: 10% deposit

  • 90-60 days before departure: 30% of the total amount is due.

  • 60-15 days before departure: 60% of the total amount is due.

• Cancellations by Guests:

  • Refer to the specific cancellation fees outlined above.

  • A administrative fee may apply in some cases.

  • Any additional costs incurred by us or our suppliers may also apply.

• Tour Cancellations:

  • We may need to cancel the tour due to insufficient enrollment.

  • You'll receive a 100% refund of all payments made.
